Improving access to Alcohol and other drug services – Breakfast session hosted by Primary Health Tasmania

Delegates of the 2023 ATDC Conference are invited to a breakfast session hosted by Primary Health Tasmania, titled Improving access to alcohol and other drug services.

Please note:  attendance is complimentary, but delegates must pre-register their attendance HERE

This session will focus on describing the AOD services sector and Alcohol and Drug services initiatives to improve access to services for patient. The session will be facilitated by Dr Nicolle Ait Khelifa from the Department of Health, state-wide mental health services. The session will provide a networking opportunity and opportunity to understand PHT educational and clinical information plans to the broader community sector, clinical and general practice community.

About the speaker:
Dr Nicolle Ait Khelifa is currently the State-wide Specialty Director of the Alcohol and Drug Service, State-wide Mental Health Services with the Department of Health in Tasmania. Dr Ait Khelifa is a general adult psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist, having obtained FRCPsych with sub-specialty addiction psychiatry from Royal College Psychiatrists UK and then FRANZCP and FAChAM since returning to Australia.
